Some events will require it, though not my first choice either.

Just keep it in mind for the future. This is why we have a probational period, for you guys to get the gear you need while learning the tactics and experience you need.

Ok, I has questions....
I have three 33 round mags for my kc-02...so does that mean I need to buy 5 more (ouch at $40 a piece).
Also... Links to decent but not kill me helmets would be amazing.
Also... Where to buy outfits in size "fluffy" without taking a second mortgage. (I have a black and multicam set)
Also... (reserved for future thoughts)

Bagel's list is all gear & items that will make attending larger Ops, i.e. AMS events, much smoother & efficient. If you don't happen to have everything, you'll do ok, but you'll wish you had it when it's over.

Using the kc, you would most likely be filling a dmr/sniper slot. as such, your ammo requirements would be lower, but I strongly recommend more magazines. The reason for this is at all AMS events, you cannot reload in the field; therefore if you run out of ammo in the first few minutes you are relatively useless to your team and miss most of the game. Helmet wise, a cheap Protec style bike helmet like you can pick up at Walmart(or just about anywhere for that matter) works great; many of us are running the Opscore replicas which will cost you around $65-70 depending on which model and where you find it. If that is what you want, Jon at Sogo can order them fairly quickly. As far as uniforms go, check thrift shops: we generally run woodland bdu or multicam.

My ultimate goal is to have 5 mags for it, that totals 150 rounds, however as you said, it's semi only and it's much more of a dmr (new bucking and barrel on order). I have my jg that I could run as a back up and I have like ten mid caps for it.

Basically when you're getting ready to roll out, you want to see something like this in your living room floor - And you still may forget something...

Either Sogo or Kelly's. I am planning on swinging by the Springfield location today, I will check if they have any.
