no. Basically, if you are driven enough, just get the certs for network, security and server. Its worth more in its own weight and costs alot less.

Yeah I hear ya. I have A+ N+ SEC+ and working the ccna. I never went to school for it and got this job with zero years of experience. I worked with a guy on deployment and he liked my work ethic and when we got back told me to apply for the open pos in IT at the company. They were looking for someone with 5 to 8 year exp. But they took me I got all my certs last year.
